Pittsfield Brotherhood


BROTHERHOOD OF ST. NICHOLAS,
LOCAL 117 OF THE RBO, PITTSFIELD, MASS.

Brotherhood Of St. Nicholas, Local 117 of the RBO, was founded the 16th of October 1909. It was organized by immigrants from Zborov county in Galicia, and their names were Marfej Buksa, Pilipp Gernik, Ignatius Vovk, Ilja Levetsky and Anthony Vovk.

The juvenile division was formed in 1918 and was included in the RBO as local 93.

The photograph above shows the members of the Brotherhood along with its juvenile division. The present officials of the Brotherhood are: Timko Siminina, chairman; Marfej Buksa, Secretary; John Krasievich, assistant Treasurer and John Kerchenko and Stefan Antonichuk, choir supervisors.
